Class 60 Transrail Grey Livery 60015
DCC Ready Version
The Brush Class 60 was the last stand of the British designed and built diesel electric locomotive. From concept to delivery in little over 18 months the construction of this 100 strong class was nothing short of impressive.
Designed as a heavy freight locomotive rather than a mixed traffic type, they soon went to work on a variety of trains for the Coal, Petroleum, Aggregate and Metals sectors. All 100 locomotives passed through the shadow franchises before coming under the ownership of EWS in 1996. Reliable, efficient and powerful, they made a name for themselves hauling the heaviest of trains across the country.
Following a low point with many stored with high engine hours, there is a resurgence happening with the likes of DCR and GBRF who are utilising their fleets of class 60’s for what they were built for.
The Accurascale class 60 is the product of many years of careful research and constructed using data from 3D scans, surveys and original Brush drawings. We have been very lucky to be able to draw on the experience and knowledge from people who worked on the commissioning of Class 60 right through to those who overhaul them in the present day.
This access has allowed us to develop the most comprehensive suite of tooling to produce the ultimate class 60.
Our model has an impressive 825g of weight to allow the powerful 5-pole motor and all-wheel drive to haul the very heaviest of trains, just like the real thing. A complex lighting suite (including radiator room and control desk lighting) and Accurathrash speaker completes the package.

- RP25-110 profile OO wheels with provision for re-gauging with scale-sized wheels for P4/EM gauges – with simple ride height adjustment – and ability to set brake blocks in line with wheels
- Separately-applied etched metal/plastic detail parts, including grab handles, steps, wipers, etc.
- Scale width wire handrails
- Etched metal pre-painted nameplates and crests (where applicable) provided for customer to install
- Interchangeable printed headcodes with full description covering the first nine years of the class plus preservation era
- Scale-sized and mounted snowploughs provided for customer to install, with one-piece NEM mounted option
- Full underframe tank, battery box and full-formed compressor detail with extensive pipework and other separate parts
- Fully sprung metal buffers and bufferplate, factory-fitted pipework and screw couplings (for display)

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of goods whatsoever. Delivery will be placed with royal mail, DHL, DPD etc. Delivery is usually between Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm. Dates and times quoted for delivery are approximate.
When you have an order with more than one item, all items will be shipped together. If you have ordered an item that is unavailable you will be refunded the amount. There is only one delivery charge per order.
Delivery is only available to UK mainland addresses. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Jersey & Guernsey Europe etc will be at cost to you.
Goods will be deemed to have been delivered once signed for or a photo has been provided to the specified address.
If you want your parcel insured you NEED to pay the extra fees. If you do not insure extra any loss, damage or theft is no responsibility to us and you MUST take it up with the courier.
