Product Info
With a style inspired by the A4s, this Streamlined B17 locomotive is a chunky model that will delight Gresley fans. The highly detailed design features a five-pole skew-wound motor and NEM couplings and can be upgraded to HM7000 control with the installation of a 21-pin decoder.
History
Gresley developed a three-cylinder 4-6-0 to cope with increased loadings on the LNER’s East Anglian passenger services in the shape of the B17 Class, as he could not use his famous ‘Pacifics’ due to weight constraints.
Two of the class were given A4-style streamlining in September 1937 for publicity purposes, including No. 2870 Tottenham Hotspur, which was then renamed City of London. They were designated B17/5s, but the streamlining was removed in April 1951.
The locomotive, originally built by Robert Stephenson & Co in 1937, was withdrawn in April 1960.

Delivery will be placed with royal mail, DHL, DPD etc. Delivery is usually between Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm. Dates and times quoted for delivery are approximate.
When you have an order with more than one item, all items will be shipped together. If you have ordered an item that is unavailable you will be refunded the amount. There is only one delivery charge per order.
Delivery is only available to UK mainland addresses. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Jersey & Guernsey Europe etc will be at cost to you.
Goods will be deemed to have been delivered once signed for or a photo has been provided to the specified address.
If you want your parcel insured you NEED to pay the extra fees. If you do not insure extra any loss, damage or theft is no responsibility to us and you MUST take it up with the courier.
