Waterslide Decal Fixing Instructions
- Soak decal in water for about 30 seconds.
- When design releases itself on backing paper, slide it off face upwards on to the model. DO NOT ALLOW IT TO FLOAT OFF BACKING PAPER.
- After final positioning, press well down, wiping from centre outwards to squeeze out surplus water and air bubbles.
For decals with Removable Varnish Cover Coating :- we recommend that you leave the cover coat on small decals, but for larger decals it is possible to PEEL AWAY the Varnish Cover Coat to leave a factory type finish.
To do this successfully, the decal must be applied to a smooth, glossy surface, and allowed to dry for at least 48 hours, before removing the film by applying a Low Tack Masking Tape to a corner of the varnish on the decal, and GENTLY pulling the varnish panel away. However, because of the thinness and clarity of the varnish, it is not critical to remove it - you will still be left with a superb, non yellowing, finish which will do justice to your model.
NB : The photograph of the item shown here for reproduction purposes, does not represent the actual fine printed quality of the decals.
