About the Model
The BBX is Tamiya's latest rear-wheel drive buggy, a powerful model inspired by Stateside full-size single seater racing buggies. It is based upon the realistic BB-01 chassis, which features a lower deck with flat underside, mounted upon which is a roll cage, frame and suspension; the battery pack is in a longitudinal position, and the motor is placed at the very rear, giving the rear traction a helping hand. The sealed gearbox contains a ball differential, while four aluminum cylinder oil dampers ensure exemplary performance. Our designers selected front double wishbone (A arms, 25-degree caster) and rear trailing arm (adjustable) setups for the suspension, and the stylish body is a polycarbonate six-piece design.


★Take a look at the chassis without the body fitted, showing off the highly realistic roll cage.

★Plated wheels are a hex hub design, and are paired with front ribbed and rear square spike tires.

★Front double-wishbone suspension uses A arms with 25 degrees of caster, and cushioned by oil dampers.


★The motor is positioned at the rear of the BB-01 chassis. Rear trailing arm suspension alignment is adjustable.

★The battery pack is located along the chassis centerline. Remove the nose cowl and stopper pin to access it.

★A busy and realistic cockpit area features a driver figure, light pods and safety nets.

★Left: Remove the rear roll cage screws and it swings up to give access to the motor.

★Right: The BB-01 chassis offers great suspension stroke and tread, making it the perfect off road partner.

★Left: A flat underbelly helps minimize problems with rough off road surfaces.

★Right: Why not buy a separately sold spare tire and fit it on the rear when you're not driving the BBX?

We shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of goods whatsoever. Delivery will be placed with royal mail, DHL, DPD etc. Delivery is usually between Monday-Friday 8am - 6pm. Dates and times quoted for delivery are approximate.

When you have an order with more than one item, all items will be shipped together. If you have ordered an item that is unavailable you will be refunded the amount. There is only one delivery charge per order.

Delivery is only available to UK mainland addresses. For deliveries to Northern Ireland, Scottish Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly, Jersey & Guernsey Europe etc will be at cost to you.

Goods will be deemed to have been delivered once signed for or a photo has been provided to the specified address.

If you want your parcel insured you NEED to pay the extra fees. If you do not insure extra any loss, damage or theft is no responsibility to us and you MUST take it up with the courier.
